Cozumel is one of the diving capitals in the Caribbean. It is located off of the Yucatan Peninsula and is about 30 miles long and 10 miles wide. Cozumel is famous for it’s enjoyable drift dives. Let the current take you past breath taking coral formations, huge sponges, and an abundance of aquatic life. Right off of Hotel Cozumel’s pier many extraordinary critters come out to play when the sun goes down. Then after rinsing the gear you can relax by the moonlit pool, or take a stroll into town for some lively nightlife. Memorial Dive for Lee Crain
We will be doing a Memorial Dive for Lee Crain, a DiveMaster here at the shop and a personal friend of many. As some of you know Lee, had been battling cancer for the past 5 years. Unfortunately, he lost his battle on Oct 18. One of his requests was to have a celebration of his life by spreading his ashes during a farewell dive in Cozumel, one of his favorite places. He also requested that his friends, particularly those from Coral Key Scuba and Dive Paradise, participate in the ceremony. With these request we felt that Cozumel would be appropriate for the spring trip, as many of you know him from all the spring trips he participated in.
