* What is Hardware Interpolation? Example: There are 1 million dots on a page. The more dots that are filled in the sharper the image. The higher the Mega Pixel the more dots per page. To make the image sharper the camera interpolates that if I have 2 green dots, the dot between the 2 green is probably green also and it sharpens the picture by making middle dot green also.
Basically this camera is 1.3MP but with interpolation goes up to 5MP - here is the break down.
