Certified: I first did a discovery dive in the late 90s, but didn't get certified until 2010. Then at the end of 2019 I wanted to really jump in but we all know what happened soon afterwards. That delayed me until 2023 when I have really dedicated myself to enjoying this wonderful sport.

Training includes: I started with PADI here in Colorado with Open Water Diver, and then Advanced Adventurer before switching to SSI. Recreational: Open Water Diver, Advanced Specialty Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Dry Suit Diving, Enriched Air Nitrox, Equipment Techniques, Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility, Perfect Buoyancy, Photo & Video, Science of Diving, Diver Stress & Rescue, React Right, Master Diver. Professional: Dive Guide, Divemaster, React Right Instructor, Snorkel Instructor

Why I joined Coral Key Scuba: I had no choice, Freddy forced me to do it. Actually I swore I would never go to Coral Key again after a bad experience with the previous owner. Then one day I stopped in to check out a piece of equipment only to find there was a different owner, and Freddy was the only one there. Not only was he extremely friendly, but very helpful as well. Ever since then I would always stop by the shop to just chat, which led me to continue training, and eventually becoming a dive master for the shop.

Favorite Dive location: I don't like to say favorite location rather favorite experiences. I have had great experiences at not so great locations, and not so great experiences at really great locations. With that said I have really enjoyed the wreck of the Spiegel Grove in Key Largo, the "shark attack" on the South side of Puerto Rico, and night diving under the Frederiksted Pier in St. Croix.

Bio: A Colorado native, growing up here in the Denver area. When I'm not diving, I'm either practicing Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at my clinic, golfing, playing guitar (and singing), or teaching martial arts. I enjoy sharing my passions, and experiences with others, which is why I decided to become a professional with the SSI dive community.
